The Confidence Game: Using Math Games to Engage Students

Experience and break down the use of games in a secondary (high school and middle) math class with adaptations for the high elementary level. This session will make use of games such as Battleship, baseball, relay races, Chutes and Ladders, and various puzzle games. These games have been used to challenge the highest level learner, engage the struggling learner, and build the confidence of all. Participants will also have the opportunity to create a game.
