DeKalb County Coalition for Youth Mental Health
Statement of Purpose
The mission of the Coalition is to support a county-wide collaboration of service providers that partner with families, communities, and other agencies to impact the optimal mental health development of children and youth in DeKalb County. Together, the parties enter into this MOU to mutually advocate for equitable access and increased capacity and quality of mental health services for children and youth.
Partnership
This partnership between the DeKalb County Regional Office of Education, Adventure Works of DeKalb County, Inc., and the Family Service Agency created the DeKalb County Coalition for Youth Mental Health. Two other coalitions were also developed to increase mental health access and services for multiple populations.
Coalition of Mental Health Providers
The DeKalb County Coalition of Mental Health Providers shares a vision to address the mental health needs of DeKalb County residents. The coalition is a collaborative effort of school and community mental health providers who work together to develop a collective impact and a system of coordination for families in DeKalb County.
