DeKalb County Regional Spelling Bee

The DeKalb County Regional Office of Education (ROE #16) proudly hosts the annual Regional Spelling Bee every February. Schools serving students in grades 5–8 are invited to send their school champion to compete. The winner of the Regional Bee earns the honor of representing our region at the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., held each May. Generous sponsors cover the travel expenses for the champion and one accompanying adult. For additional details, visit spellingbee.com.
