Aligning Pre-K and Kindergarten: Early Learning Series – Part 3

This is the third workshop of our series on kindergarten readiness and transition. The focus will be on how we can use the Illinois Early Learning and Development standards as a common tool for preparing our students for kindergarten, regardless of the Pre-K site they attend. Participants will learn how to address the challenge of working in a large district with multiple elementary schools when each has different expectations. Ms. Bodine will model how to teach foundational kindergarten skills in developmentally appropriate ways. Participants will also have time to network with colleagues.
