Facilitating the Transition Between Early Childhood and Kindergarten

This workshop will continue the discussion about developmentally appropriate practices and high expectations that started at October’s “Bridging the Gap Between Pre-K and Kindergarten.” We will hear from DeKalb County kindergarten teachers and have the opportunity for open discussion about current challenges faced in regard to transitioning to kindergarten and how to overcome those challenges. This workshop is open to ALL early childhood educators, regardless of the teaching setting, and ALL kindergarten teachers across the county.
