Media Literacy & Digital Tattoos: Growing Up in a Digital Age

In today’s world, students are continually exposed to media. From TikTok to podcasts to simply searching the internet and every social media platform in between. This continual media exposure can create a world of misinformation and the inability to identify when sources are reliable and when they aren’t. With the passage of IL HB0234 our high school students must take a unit on media literacy before graduation. Join us for this workshop that will help teachers understand how they can teach media literacy to their students effectively. *Note: This workshop is applicable to all grade levels not just a high school teacher who is teaching the new standard.
